I wanted to let you know about a fantastic resource for students and teachers called Classroom Idaho. IdahoPTV is currently producing Classroom Idaho lessons that are created by teachers from all over Idaho. These lessons, ranging from Language Arts to Math to Science, are designed to target students in grades K through 6. The lessons will be broadcast on IdahoPTV’s CREATE Channel and will be available on the Classroom Idaho website and IdahoPTV’s YouTube channel. The goal of this project is to provide children with access to learning during the summer. As the only public media station in Idaho, IdahoPTV reaches about 99% of homes, thus enabling students who do not have internet access to receive high-quality instruction via an over-the-air antenna for free.
