ICTM (Idaho Council of Teachers of Mathematics):  an organization of teachers of mathematics from the state of Idaho.

 A voice for quality mathematics education:  we share ideas and concerns regarding mathematics education—with each other, with the Department of Education, with NCTM (National Council of Teachers of Mathematics), with educators around the nation.

 Empowering teachers:  we assist in professional development through the annual Fall Conference, through the tri-annual Pinnacle newsletter, through Mathematics Education Scholarships (ICTM offers scholarships of financial assistance to Idaho teachers to attend mathematics conferences or to take mathematics courses), and through Poster Sets (ICTM has developed several sets of posters designed for bulletin boards and/or classroom activities).

 Promoting student achievement:  our ultimate goal is the help students achieve—to learn, to love, to use mathematics—through using our “voice”, and through “empowering teachers”.
