Spanning seven counties, Region 5 of the Idaho Council of Teachers of Mathematics supports educators and serves students in the following counties: Bannock, Bear Lake, Bingham, Caribou, Franklin, Oneida, and Power.

The Idaho Regional Mathematics Centers (RMC) are housed within the colleges of education at each of Idaho’s four-year institutions of higher education. Regional Math Center staff work collaboratively with the Idaho Department of Education to provide the best possible support for mathematics education in each region.

The Idaho State RMC is one of four Idaho Regional Mathematics Centers formed in partnerships among the Idaho State Department of Education and Idaho's Institutions of Higher Education to provide deep, sustained, and effective mathematics professional development for educators in Idaho.
