Spanning ten counties, Region 3 of the Idaho Council of Teachers of Mathematics supports educators and serves students in the following counties: Ada, Adams, Boise, Canyon, Elmore, Gem, Owyhee, Payette, Washington, and Valley.

Region 3A consists of the Boise and West Ada School Districts (for support in other south-western districts, see Region 3B).

Regional representatives coordinate and organize ICTM activities, such as meet-ups and conferences, within their regions. Robin Tomasi and Patricia Vandenberg are here to support Region 3A board members.

The Idaho Regional Mathematics Centers (RMC) are housed within the colleges of education at each of Idaho’s four-year institutions of higher education. Regional Math Center staff work collaboratively with the Idaho Department of Education to provide the best possible support for mathematics education in each region.

The Boise State RMC is one of four Idaho Regional Mathematics Centers formed in partnerships among the Idaho State Department of Education and Idaho’s Institutions of Higher Education to provide deep, sustained, and effective mathematics professional development for educators in Idaho.
