Spanning five counties, Region 2 of the Idaho Council of Teachers of Mathematics supports educators and serves students in the following counties: Clearwater, Idaho, Latah, Lewis, and Nez Perce.

The Idaho Regional Mathematics Centers (RMC) are housed within the colleges of education at each of Idaho’s four-year institutions of higher education. Regional Math Center staff work collaboratively with the Idaho Department of Education to provide the best possible support for mathematics education in each region.

The Idaho Regional Mathematics Center for Region 2 is funded by the Idaho State Department of Education and is housed at LC State College. The intent of the IRMC is to support K-12 teachers, schools, and districts in mathematics. We understand the needs across classrooms, schools, and districts are diverse, so we work with you to develop an individualized plan of support. Members of the IRMC have experience in K-16 mathematics education, designing and delivering professional development, educational research, and instructional technologies.
